Total net weight change in 2008: -26 pounds. Not quite (by a longshot) the 50 that I had planned for, but better than nothing. A lot better than nothing. It's been a very on again-off again year with the Weight Watchers and the working out for me, so my big goal for this year is to actually stay on plan in 2009. Thus, I am currently enjoying my last Sonic Blast at this moment, because I'm starting 2009 tomorrow.
Total money spent on smaller clothes in 2008: I don't even want to think about it. I would not be in the least surprised if that number is in the thousands. I did a better job of restraining myself in the latter half of the year, though.
Companies that I worked for in 2008: Just one. I do believe it was the first calendar year during which I only had one employer since I started working back in 2003.
Days until I start nursing school again: 19. Did I learn nothing the first time around? Actually, I'm kind of looking forward to it. I'm interested to find out what useful things I learn, now that I actually know what information I actually need as opposed to what's just junk for the test.
I bagged my own groceries at Target the other day. After a consistent string of disappointing cashiers putting things together that just don't make sense, I finally requested that I be allowed to do it myself. I got a kind of a weird look, but I got what I wanted. And no eggs were bagged with an electric mixer and Glad wrap.
I'm off. Gotta get ready for what will surely be one of the very first bachelorette parties of 2009! |

I cannot realistically make an A in either of my classes.
To get a B in both of my classes, I need to make a 21 on my chemistry final, and a 47 on my statistics final.
I'm not too worried about it. I'm more worried about the line in the testing center and being home by 8 to sign up for my work schedule.
Cool.
Edited to add:
Finals are done. 60 on chemistry, and I spent a grand total of 15 minutes on my guessing... I mean my test.
On my way out, I smoothly stopped by the bookstore and made a quick $133 for my books. (Which will also be reimbursed by my employer... *evil grin*) |

The key tone of a song is not supposed to be a secret that you keep from the congregation until you've sung your way through half the first line. Please do not turn your back on me while finding the pitch. I would like to know it, too.
Thanks. |

I thought I was going to want to take a break from the political media coverage.
Now I want to take a break from Pleonast, Facebook, and every other medium by which I keep in touch with Christians.
My world is not coming to an abrupt halt. I have not suddenly lost all reason for happiness in life. This world is not my home.
I didn't think a Republican victory would do us much good, either...
I don't know about you. |
